In what could be a first in Africa, two power companies have agreed to have an exchange program in which they shall switch countries. The two companies, Nigeria’s NEPA (Never Expect Power Again) and Kenya’s KPLC (Kenyans Please Light Candles) announced yesterday in a meeting in Nairobi.

In a statement to newsrooms, the NEPA MD chief chineke Ibapesa
said,”following the discovery of TurkanaOil we found Kenya an appropriate market due to our skill in forcing the population to use diesel generators. As a result we are providing generators to those who pay monthly and get no power..”

His Kenyan counterpart, KPLC MD Mr Olewako Kwagiza said, “We as a company aim at promoting romance in the world which we believe will best suit the Nigerian market since most Kenyan ladies say Naija men are romantic and know how to give candle lit dinners…”
